with coming into the room and taking up space. As women we are often made to be small so we begin breathing and allowing ourselves to be BIG!
with group exercises and journaling prompts, acknowledging the things we think we "aren't supposed to feel" and showing each other so many of us feel this way as well.
by making bouquets. We choose each flower in relation to a "thorn" or problem in our lives, we write encouraging letters to our little selves and give those to other women's bouquets. Showing we don't need to get rid of the hardship but rather use it to build the beauty and support around it.
warming up our bodies and expressing what we are giving ourselves permission NOT to be today; perfect, in control, small etc. We do a gratitude practice noting each part of our beds we hate and what it actually does provide for us.
with partner work. Through exercises like mirroring, observing and expressing we overcome fears of being perceived with judgement and negative self talk.
with love letters to our bodies. Free style dancing structured by movement and music that reflects anger, love, apology etc.
(All movement can be modified to the women's physical ability and comfort level. We welcome all bodies and abilities)
